It is with great disappointment that the 2012 NYSBCA Coaches Clinic has
to be postponed due to low turnout.
 
The NYSBCA was formed to:
 
Provide the opportunity to be part of over 900 New York State high
school coaches furthering the education and promotion of the game of
amateur baseball.
 
•Provide an exchange of ideas and information among baseball coaches.
•Enhance professional growth and development.
•Offer unlimited contacts with coaches from around New York State.
•Provide regional/Statewide recognition of coaches and players for
outstanding achievements.
•Hold the opportunity to attend the annual convention, featuring clinic
speakers and top baseball product exhibitors.
•Provide on-line access to the NYSBCA's web site.
•Provide subscription to Around The Horn an e- newsletter .
•Lobbying vehicle to the NCAA, NJCAA and to the New York State Public
and Private High Schools.
 
 However, it has been a huge struggle for our executive board to gain
momentum in building this organization. YOU are the driving force that
keeps our organization going. Without the coaches, there is no NYSBCA.
　
We are asking all of the baseball coaches at EVERY level to be part of
something that can have a profound impact on our game. Get involved in
your professional organization. New York State is the fifth leading
state in the USA to have high school and collge players selelcted in the
MLB Amateur Draft.
　
 
We are open to suggestions on how we can keep this thing "on the
tracks". Please share your ideas and help us keep this resource alive
for the baseball caoches of New York.
 
Vendors, please share your busines and marketing expertise on how we can
join a partnership with you and allow us to get your products in the
hands of all of the baseball programs in New York.
　
A special thanks to all of the vendors who committed to sponsoring this
year's event, the speakers who gave up their time with their teams to
come speak, The Frozen Ropes staff for allowing us to use their facility
and shutting down their business for the length of the event and
especiall the coaches who registered to attend.
　
Eveyone will be receiving a refund shortly.

The best baseball coaches in the country are now unified!

The NYSBCA (New York State Baseball Coaches Association) is a newly formed Association created to promote baseball through the combined efforts of New York's high school and college coaches. New York has always been considered one of the strongest baseball states in the country, both in the level of participation and the quality of players.

Prior to the formation of NYSBCA, coaches had no formal organization to assist in the production and growth of baseball throughout the state. For the first time, high school and college coaches will have the opportunity to network and combine their efforts to improve the status and recognition of players and coaches in New York.

Diamond will donate money to the NYSBCA for every purchase of baseballs .

American Baseball Coaches Association - American Baseball Coaches Association: NYSBCA Advisory Board Member Jim Carrese represents Region I {NY & New England } for the ABCA HS All-American Committee. Selection of the All- Regional teams, All- American team and the new Gold Glove HS Team begin May 15th.
