2nd Annual NYSBCA  CLINIC to be held on Feb. 9th and 10th, 2012

The NYSBCA Coaches Clinic will be held at the Frozen Ropes facility in Chester, NY on Thursday night, February 9th and all day on Friday, February 10th, 2012.

Howard Johnson, 14 year MLB player and former NY Met All Star  and hitting coach, will be the keynote presenter at this year clinic.

Once the final speaker schedule is finalized,we will get the information out to our members.  Please save the date.

St. John's Coach, Ed Blankmeyer and Ithaca baseball coach George Valesente kick off the Convention on Friday night.

 

Dr. Tom Hanson, Tony Abbetine and Chris Rowan  give excellent presentations.

The best baseball coaches in the country are now unified!

The NYSBCA (New York State Baseball Coaches Association) is a newly formed Association created to promote baseball through the combined efforts of New York's high school and college coaches. New York has always been considered one of the strongest baseball states in the country, both in the level of participation and the quality of players.

Prior to the formation of NYSBCA, coaches had no formal organization to assist in the production and growth of baseball throughout the state. For the first time, high school and college coaches will have the opportunity to network and combine their efforts to improve the status and recognition of players and coaches in New York.

Diamond will donate money to the NYSBCA for every purchase of baseballs .

American Baseball Coaches Association - American Baseball Coaches Association: NYSBCA Advisory Board Member Jim Carrese represents Region I {NY & New England } for the ABCA HS All-American Committee. Selection of the All- Regional teams, All- American team and the new Gold Glove HS Team begin May 15th.
